CITATION
Citation
refers to a quotation from or reference to a book, paper, or
author, especially in a scholarly work. For example "the majority of the
citations are to work published during the past twenty years"
The following are the steps to apply citation on any
document,
-    On
Microsoft Word window, click “references” on menu bar
 -  Then,
click “Insert citation”  on tool bar
 -   Select
“Add new source”
 -  Fill
the details of the book, article, Conference, journal articles that used to
refer
 - Then click “OK” till this step citation will be done.
 
REFERENCE
Reference refers to the use of a source of information in order to establish something, or the action of mentioning something.
The following are the steps to apply reference on any
document,
-         
         On
Microsoft Word window, click “references” on menu bar
 -                  Then,
click “Insert citation”  on tool bar
 -                  Select
“Add new source”
 -                Fill
the details of the book, article, Conference, journal articles that used to
refer
 -                   Then
click “OK” 
 -              Click
“bibliography” till this step the reference will be done.
 
AUTOMATIC TABLE OF
CONTENT
The table of contents is
an organized listing of your document's chapters, sections and, often, figures,
clearly labelled by page number.
The following are the steps to apply automatic table
of content on any document,
        
i.        π    On
the Microsoft Word window, click “references” on menu bar
      
ii.        π    Select a document/ title wanted to be in a list.
     
iii.       π     Click “Add text”
    
iv.         π   Click level of the title, i.e. level 1, level 2, level
3 etc
      
v.        π    Click “table of content”
    
vi.         π   Select “automatic table of content” that interested to
be displayed on the document
   
vii.      π      Now the table of content is ready.
PAGE NUMBERS
Page numbering is the process of
applying a sequence of numbers to the pages of a book or other document. 
The different page numbers are the number which may appear in various places on
the page, can be a number, letter or roman number.
The following are the steps to apply different page
number on any document,
- On
the Microsoft Word window, click “insert” on menu bar
 -  Click,
“page number”
 - Select “format page number” i.e. i, ii, iii, IV, 1, 2, 3, 4, a, b, c, d, e. Then select intended format to insert. E.g. 1, 2, 3, 4,
 - Click ok
 - Click, “page layout”
 -    Click,
“breaks”
 -    Click,
“continuous”
 -    Secondly,
click “insert”
 -                  Click,
“page number”
 -                 Select
“format page number” i.e. i, ii, iii, iv, 1, 2, 3, 4, a, b, c, d, e. Then
select intended format to insert. E.g. a, b, c, d, e, f
 -                 Click
“OK”
 
PAGE BORDERS (first page border)
A page border is a border that appears outside the margins on
each page in the document. It looks very attractive when you apply the
page border. There are many styles available on the page border. Also, you can
customize your own page border like thickness, colour, design, and size of the
border.
The following are the steps to apply page border on
first page,
        
i.        π    On
the Microsoft Word window, click “page layout” on menu bar
       ii.       π     Click,
“page layout” on menu bar
      iii.       π     Click,
“page borders”
     iv.         π   Customize
the page border, i.e. thickness, color, style, arts
       v.         π   Click
apply to “this section-first page only”
     vi.        π    Click
“OK”

Is
a key on a computer keyboard that when pressed in combination with other keys
enables special commands or symbols to be accessed Pressing
"z" while holding down the control key often undoes the last action.
